Superman vs Solomon Grundy

Solomon Grundy is a zombie supervillain from DC comics. He's the reanimated corpse of a 19th century merchant and started out as a Green Lantern villain, but he's better known as a member of the Legion of Doom. Check out this clip from the Justice League cartoon where Grundy throws down with Superman:

MARVEL ZOMBIES

Marvel Zombies was a miniseries showing the Marvel Universe after a zombie apocalypse turned all its beloved heroes into the walking dead. It's the brainchild of Robert Kirkman, who's become the king of zombie comics with his excellent ongoing series The Walking Dead (featuring art by Charlie Adlard and Tony Moore.)

The covers, painted by Arthur Suydam, were parodies of iconic Marvel covers...featuring the heroes as the undead. It's some mighty good lookins, Marvel comics fan or not. This site here has collected the covers from the miniseries and its tie-ins. Enjoy!

Up and Coming Zombie Comic!!!

Here is something new for you all to follow up on. Chris Crammer, fantastic illustrator from Minneapolis, is working on a Zombie book and throwing a major, very cute spin on things. Chris has this incredible ability to meld obnoxiously adorable characters with horrific acts of graphic violence. Check out his BLOG and his WEBSITE. This shit is gonna be awesome.

Last Blood

Last Blood is a webcomic. It's the brainchild of Bobby Crosby and Owen Gieni, presented by Blatant Comics, and updated thrice a week.


















The premise? Zombies have taken over the world, and the remaining human population is guarded by vampires, who need them to feed. Yes, zombies vs. vampires. Read it here!

The Undead Inkings of Bryan Baugh

Here is another fantastic artist drawing zombies for a living... Mr. Bryan Baugh! Mr. Baugh has a fantastic style in the same vein of the classic E.C. comics, with great ink-work and graphic blood and gore accompanying great character designs, this man's zombies are up there on my list. It is great to see folks holding true to killer, old-fashioned MONSTERS.





Also, he has a great new horror comic out titled Wulf and Batsy, and a bit of insider info that I received from the man himself tells me that all zombie fans need to keep an eye out for September's issue three.

From Frank Cho's Zombie King #0. This was supposed to be a creator-owned miniseries for Image after Frank's Marvel work was done, but as far as I can tell only one issue came out back in '05. It would have been (will be?) pretty killer though if the first issue's any indication.
